As friendly as they are professional and welcoming, Didier and Anne are very attentive and incredibly flexible (use of the spa, check in, check out). They have created a real haven of peace there, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the environment is beautiful and calm. Nothing could be more perfect than the cottage designed by Didier and Anne. We will come back with great pleasure. Thank you for everything.

We booked this cottage for the second time. The house is very nice, spacious, warm and clean. There are 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have a bathroom and toilet. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna. The owners are considerate and attentive. I recommend!

Wij hebben met een group van 8 volwassenen een heerlijke 10-daagse vakantie gehad en la Mélinothe. Spijtig van het mindere weer maar de lite maakt alles goed. Deze is prachtig gerestaureerd; ruime leefruimte met annex keuken, 5 slaapkamers waarvan 4 met badkamer, prachtige tuin, wellnessruimte indienne gewenst. Alles are your hands. De omgeving leent zich tot het maken van mooie fietstochten, bezoek aan historische steden en musea. We hebben genoten, met dank an Anne, Didier en Gregory. 5/5

Magnificent high quality cottage, fully equipped. You feel at home. The owners are welcoming, warm and discreet. The region is full of things to see and do from a cultural, heritage, culinary and nature point of view. We highly recommend this cottage. We have just had a wonderful Easter weekend with the family in this very well appointed, very equipped and charming house. The many games and children's books were appreciated, the spa is great and the proximity of the lake is very pleasant! The garden is also magnificent at this time of year! Perfect winter stay!
Another wonderful stay at La Mélinothe where we returned for the 2nd time, this time with our friends, after a few days spent with our families on the occasion of our wedding in June. Very different atmosphere but also very pleasant in winter, where we were able to enjoy the magnificent fireplace and the spa. The house is very comfortable and perfectly equipped, you couldn't dream of better and you feel at home. A perfect weekend of disconnection.

Gorgeous
Very well received by our hosts, and perfectly informed about the functioning of the cottage, we had a very pleasant stay. The gloomy weather of December limited the outings, so we fully appreciated the comfort of the cottage, its equipment, its fireplace and the space. Our team of 10 people moved around and found their place without in any way disturbing each other. Troyes is only 30 minutes away by car, supplies are easy. The walks in town or in the countryside are very pleasant. In summary, we warmly recommend this very beautiful cottage which fully deserves five stars.

Great house
Very warm welcome from Didier and Anne, and good communication. The house is great, big and everything you need is taken care of. It is clean, has very nice bedrooms including bathrooms. Very nice living and dinner room and a great garden. At the end of the village, so you can walk into the beautiful nature immediately. Very lovely stay!

Marvelous gîte
A fantastic place to spend time with family and friends. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make dinner for a large group, the best equipped we've ever had! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The garden is delightful with beautiful plants and plenty of garden furniture- a special place to enjoy the peace and quiet. Didier and Anne are lovely, welcoming hosts, who speak excellent English. The local area is very pretty and there are plenty of things to do and see within a short drive. I thoroughly recommend a visit and we will definitely return! Thank you Anne and Didier for your hospitality and kindness- we really enjoyed our two weeks stay in your beautiful gîte!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The cottage is superb and warm, you could believe you were at home. There really is everything you need. The bedding is excellent and the shower room / WC in 4 of the 5 bedrooms is a real asset. It is very quiet and well located. We loved the area and there is a lot to visit. Thank you to the owners for welcoming us so well, for being discreet but present when necessary. Do not hesitate, this place is worth the detour.

A big thank you to Didier for his warm welcome. Didier is an available and caring host for his guests, attentive to every detail. La Mélinothe is a very well designed cottage with everything you need to feel good, bathroom with WC adjoining each room, everything is provided. We had a great weekend with friends for a hen party where we were able to enjoy the spa and sauna which was a very pleasant moment of relaxation, a little extra that we really appreciated. Too bad the weather wasn't great because the outside is beautiful too. We'll come back next time with the sun. We highly recommend Nadine

Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en de gastvrijheid van Anne en Didier was super.
We have even bathed in gems, heerlijk gebruik gemaakt van sauna en jacuzzi. Mooie stad Troyes bezocht.
Wij waren er om de 80e verjaardag van oma te vieren en dat op deze mooie plek helemaal gelukt.

The setting was great for a relaxing weekend. The accommodation was super professional and the hosts very welcoming. I recommend it.

A pleasant home, ideal for large families. We had a very pleasant week with hosts always there to help us if needed. And thank you again for the chamber pot to wake us up the newlyweds. The garden is perfect, the interior decorated with care. And this plus of having a bathroom with toilet in the bedrooms. The place is very quiet. I recommend this house for your holidays.

Fully accommodated in convenient ligging. A warm welcome from Didier en Anne (die naast Frans ook heel goed Engels spreken). Het huis ontbreekt aan niets, echt alles est aanwezig. Please note that these items should not be damaged. Mooie ruime slaapkamers met ieder een eigen toilet en douche. Op loopafstand een prachtig meer ter verkoeling en vermaak. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid Didier en Anne een accommodatie om trots op te zijn!!

I recommend 100%! We were won over by the welcome from Anne & Didier, warm, available, flexible and attentive! The cottage is very cozy, perfectly equipped, whether for the kitchen or for leisure! The bedding is of very good quality and the rooms are spacious, nothing to complain about the cleanliness and functionality of the place. We particularly enjoyed the spa, the pétanque court and the large, quiet garden, with plenty of space for the children! We will return with great pleasure to this little corner of paradise!

A warm welcome from the owners Anne and Didier, who will make you feel at home. An incredible property where every detail has been thought of to ensure you have a perfect stay. The lake next to the cottage is ideal for enjoying the good weather, you can always fall back on the jacuzzi and sauna if the sun is not there. Excellent stay with family, cousins, adults and children. Very pleasant, spacious, comfortable cottage, suitable for all ages, neat and warm decoration. The garden is also not forgotten (many rest areas and tables, large area for games) among flowers and greenery. The hosts are charming, considerate, responsive with lots of little touches, cider and apple juice in the fridge on arrival and cherries to pick at will. Excellent welcome from the owners who listened to our comfort. The cottage is superb, very clean and pleasant to live in. Large, well-equipped garden space. Ideal for our Qi Gong and storytelling course, of which we all have excellent memories.
